Human Subject Assurance Training Module – Produced by the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
The purpose of this tutorial is to explain the responsibilities involved in an institutional program of human subject protection as well as the informed consent process. OHRP will not approve an institution’s Assurance unless key individuals : the Institutional Official, the Chair of the Institutional Review Board (IRB), and the Human Protections Administrator (Primary Contact), have completed this tutorial or equivalent training.
