Our Company

Chesapeake Research Review, Inc. (Chesapeake IRB) was founded in 1993.  We have provided independent IRB services for major pharmaceutical companies, universities, academic medical centers, individual researchers, and community hospitals since our founding.

Chesapeake IRB was one of the first independent IRBs to receive authorization (Single Project Assurance, SPA) to support federally funded research. In addition to IRB services, we also offer training, consulting, and educational services focusing on on human research protection.

  • Chesapeake IRB members include experts in all therapeutic areas as well as being recognized in regulatory and ethics arenas.
  • Chesapeake IRB was one of the first independent IRBs to be accredited by AAHRPP and has successfully maintained full accreditation since 2004.
